Drawing on lived experience as an autistic, ADHD and dyslexic individual, Steve is committed to improving accessibility and inclusion. With over a decade of experience in Accessibility covering Aviation and the Travel Industry, Steve has worked across various sectors, from in-airport assistance service providers to leading accessibility operations at major UK airports. Steve currently leads the Accessibility & Assisted Travel team at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays and his role involves overseeing the end-to-end customer Accessibility journey — from pre-travel booking, in-airport assistance both in the UK and overseas to onboard services, and accessible transfers and accommodation.
Steve is the Co-Chair of the Aviation Accessibility Implementation group (AAIG) which was developed from the DfT Task & Finish group from last year. The group is ‘Guided by Lived Experience and led by Industry, with a focus on implementing the core recommendations on access to air travel from the 2025 report.
